ADWARE TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED ("we", "our", "us") operates Linkpe, an automated selling platform for WhatsApp and Instagram sellers in India. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our Service.

By using Linkpe, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

We collect information you directly provide when using the Service:

• Phone number and email address (for account creation and authentication)
• Business name and description
• Bank account details (Basic plan: account holder name, account number, IFSC for settlement purposes)
• GST number (if applicable)
• Store preferences including logo, colours, and banners
• Product information: names, descriptions, prices, variants, and images
• Customer data collected at checkout: name, phone number, and delivery address
• Order and transaction records

2.2 Premium Plan: Payment Gateway Credentials

If you connect your own payment gateway on the Premium plan, we collect:

• Razorpay: Key ID and Key Secret
• Cashfree: App ID and Secret Key

These credentials are stored encrypted and used solely to create and verify payment orders on your behalf. We do not share them with any third party. Payments go directly through your own gateway account and settle to your registered bank. We have no access to your funds or your customers' payment details.

2.3 Automatically Collected Information

When you access the Service, we automatically collect:

• IP address and device information
• Browser type and version
• Pages visited and time on page
• Date and time of visits
• Referring URLs and operating system

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Create and manage your account and store
• Authenticate your identity via OTP verification
• Process payments through Linkpe's Razorpay gateway (Basic plan)
• Connect and verify your own Razorpay or Cashfree gateway (Premium plan)
• Generate automated order confirmations and invoices
• Display orders, payments, and sales data in your dashboard
• Calculate and track the 10% platform commission (Basic plan)
• Manage shipping and courier assignments (Premium plan)
• Send transaction notifications and important account updates
• Provide customer support
• Detect and prevent fraud and security threats
• Improve the Service and develop new features
• Comply with legal obligations and KYC requirements

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share it in the following circumstances:

4.1 Service Providers

We share information with trusted providers who help us operate the Service:

• Twilio: SMS delivery for OTP verification
• Supabase: database and authentication infrastructure
• Razorpay: payment processing (Linkpe's gateway for Basic plan; optional own gateway for Premium)
• Cashfree: optional own payment gateway for Premium plan users
• Shiprocket / Delhivery: shipping and logistics (Premium plan)
• Vercel: cloud hosting infrastructure

These providers access your data only to perform tasks on our behalf and are obligated to keep it confidential.

4.2 Payment Gateway Specifics

Basic Plan: Customer payments are collected through Linkpe's Razorpay merchant account. After a 10% platform commission, 90% is settled to your bank. Customer card and UPI credentials are handled exclusively by Razorpay and never pass through Linkpe's servers.

Premium Plan: Payments go directly through your own Razorpay or Cashfree account. 100% settles to your registered bank. Linkpe takes 0% commission and has no access to the funds.

4.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Linkpe, our users, or others.

4.4 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures:

• HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit
• Encrypted database storage with row-level access controls
• OTP-based authentication for account access
• Rate limiting to prevent unauthorised access
• Webhook signature verification for payment callbacks
• Razorpay and Cashfree: PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant, RBI-certified infrastructure

No method of internet transmission is 100% secure. While we take strong precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

6.1 What We Store

• Account information: business name, phone number, email
• Store and product data
• Transaction metadata: order IDs, amounts, dates, status
• Razorpay/Cashfree order reference IDs (non-sensitive)
• Sales and commission statistics

6.2 What We Do Not Store

• Customer payment card details or UPI credentials
• UPI PINs or any payment authentication data
• PAN numbers

Sensitive payment data is handled exclusively by Razorpay and Cashfree's secure infrastructure.

6.3 After Account Deletion

• Personal information is permanently deleted within 30 days
• Transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by Indian tax law
• Anonymised analytics data may be retained indefinitely

7. Your Privacy Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data
• Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and data
• Portability: Export your data in a machine-readable format
• Objection: Object to certain types of data processing
